Stephanie Shih

Stanford, Class of 2008

"I really wouldn't have understood the format [of the test]. I really wouldn't have the motive to take the test. Mr.Kwon is very, very dedicated. He knows what he's talking about and he makes it a lot of fun, which I think is better for students who's taking his class because we feel that we understand. We feel very comfortable with the test" (PBS Interview).

Danial Shelburne

Chapman, Class of 2020

"My whole life, academics was something I was never really great at and I learned to accept that fact about myself throughout the years. Knowing that either an SAT or ACT score was required to apply to a four-year university, I enrolled in Steve Kwon's SAT course. Steve told me that anything is possible as long as I work hard and consistently. Whenever I needed help with a problem, I would ask Steve for assistance and he helped me learn from the mistakes I would make. After seeing my scores rise every week, I learned so much about both the SAT and about myself. I learned to love learning and decided to challenge myself by taking harder classes and seeing my true potential. Through Steve Kwon's SAT program, I have learned of my true potential."

Katherine Liu

UC Berkeley, Class of 2020

"Hi Steve, scores came out for October and I'm very excited to say that I got a perfect score on my SAT!  There is no doubt in my mind that it would not have been possible without you and your program. Thank you for encouraging such a positive, friendly environment in which to tackle such a daunting exam and also for being the generous and down-to-earth person you are!"
